Wild at Heart Bride is something we have been planning to do for a while, but due to the lockdown it happened quicker than we originally intended. Usually for big weddings, we meet the bride and work on large-scale flower arrangements. Because this wasn’t possible and many couples have chosen to keep their original wedding date with an intimate ceremony either at home or in a registry office, we wanted to offer a little piece of Wild at Heart on their special day. A luxurious bouquet for the bride and matching posies and buttonholes was a way to do this.
My most memorable arrangement was the flowers I did for my best friend’s wedding, at her home in the middle of Wales. Her gift list was themed around building an orchard in her garden, so she asked her guests to buy her and her husband apple trees. This was also the theme for the flowers. We had small apple trees on each table with apples and lanterns hanging from the branches, bringing the outside in. It looked fabulous!
